Oak Pointe has 12 standard wood species that are always in stock. These wood species are the most requested and are available in various sizes for quick turn-around projects and any custom order. The 12 standard wood species and Flat White Primer option, include the following:

Specialty

If a project requires a wood species that is not listed, Oak Pointe can procure more exotic (Specialty) woods such as the EXAMPLES listed below. Oak Pointe also offers reclaimed, heartwood/sapwood, character grade/knotty options. Whatever wood species a project requires, Oak Point can almost certainly source it.

For Outdoor Projects

For outdoor projects, some woods are more weather resistant than others but Accoya® has proven to be the best choice. Cellular PVC, which is a wood replacement can also be utilized. Neither Cellular PVC or Accoya® require the upkeep of other wood species. For other options, contact Oak Pointe. When manufacturing products for exterior use, Oak Pointe always uses premium grade exterior glue when face or edge gluing is necessary
